Competing in the Senior Girls category was Wilson Central High School Junior, Meagan Maxwell. Maxwell lowered her personal best times in the 200 Breast, 50 Free, and 100 Fly, and was just off on the 200 IM, 100 Breast, and 100 Free. “Meagan is swimming great for this time of the year. Kudos goes to Meagan; she has been training hard and is looking better than I have ever seen her look.” Coach John Barnes noted. “As long as she keeps focused on doing the little things right, she should have a good High School season.”
Competing in the 13&14 Boys category was Holy Rosary 8th Grader and Willoughby Station resident Alek Nochowicz. Nochowicz dropped times in the 200 IM, 200 Free, 100 Back, 50 Free, and was just 4-hundredths of a second off his best time in the 100 Free. “Alek had nice time drops, and is doing well. He has a lot of raw ability, and we expect to see more of him at practice and doing even better in the future.” Coach Barnes explained.
